I just completed a 5 hour detail on my good friends Maxima. It was very heavily water spotted and a lot of surface scratches and swirl marks. Did the Dawn wash and used my Portor Cable 7336 Random Orbit Sander/Polisher and Lake Country yellow cutting pad with the SSR2.5 Super Swirl Remover with medium abrasive. It got rid of most of the water spots and the light scratches and even road tar. Next I used a white Lake Country white polishing pad and the SSR1 Super Swirl Remover with light abrasive and it polished up to a mirror like shine. The Wolfgang Concours-Series Deep Gloss Paint Sealant worked awesome on dark metallic green and just blew me away. Again it's a matter of using the right products. Thinking about moving to a rotary polisher soon, what would you recommend??
